ATS2000 celebrated the B Corp certification in the Arturo Toscanini Music Production Center, undoubtedly one of the most evocative places in Parma.
The audience in the hall attended the concert of the “Filarmonica Toscanini” conducted by the talented maestro Marco Alibrando. The 36 elements performed a classical repertoire involving and exciting those present throughout the performance.
Afterwards, ATS2000 celebrated with a toast and a buffet shared with the people who work and collaborate in the life of the company, supporting B Corp values every day.
On the occasion of the 4th of October event, the newspaper Gazzetta di Parma interviewed the CEO of ATS2000, Giorgio Pappani, and published an article dedicated to the company in the economics section.

ATS 2000 has obtained the B Corp certification
The B Corp international certification was created in 2006 by the non-profit organization B Lab - Wayne, Pennsylvania USA.
The goal that inspired the organization of B Lab is to use business as a driving force to create value for society and a positive impact on people and the environment.
In almost twenty years of life, more than 4,500 certified B Corporations have been born out of this need for positive evolution within 155 sectors and within 78 countries, including Italy, where you can count about 200 B Corps.
To become a B Corp it is necessary to pass the BIA (B Impact Assessment).
BIA is the protocol developed by B Lab which provides an in-depth assessment of company performance by taking into consideration 5 macro areas: governance, community, people, environment and customers.
The B Impact Assessment provided an evaluation to the environmental and social impact of our company; we have thus highlighted the most virtuous aspects of ATS2000 and created new paths, aimed at a positive evolution of the business.
We are thrilled to communicate this achievement and to be part of a worldwide movement that aims to generate a positive impact on society and the environment.
The B Corp certification reinforces the path already undertaken in 2022 which saw ATS2000 change its corporate statute and to become a Benefit Company.
This choice entails a constant and precise commitment to measuring one's own results and objectives which must be reported in the Impact Report which, since 2015, has also become a legal obligation.
Certification Notice
"Certified B Corporation" is a trademark lincensed by B Lab, a private non-profit organization, to companies like ours that have successfully completed the B Impact Assessment ("BIA") and therefore meet the requirements set by B Lab for social and enviromental performance, accountability, and transparency. It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body as defined by Regulation (EU) No 765/2008, nor is it a national, European, or international standardization body as per Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012. The criteria of the BIA are distinct and indipendent from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO norms or other standardization bodies, and they are not ratified by national or European public institutions.

Promoting culture and professional training in our area
ATS 2000 actively participates in the projects promoted by Snupi odv.
We welcomed the request for support promoted by Giulio Orsini because we know how important the training and professional growth of young doctors is.
Emir Zec was born in Sarajevo and now lives in Parma, he is preparing his degree thesis: "Endoscopic dilatations of ileocecal valve stenosis in Crohn's disease as a bridge to surgery".
His research concerns chronic inflammatory bowel disease. A contribution has been allocated for the "project grant" which will allow Zec to continue his training in the field of Gastroenterological Endoscopy and to renew the documents necessary for his stay in Italy.

Rome 11 October 2019 - Somalia Round Table - UNIDO ITPO Italy
As part of the activities in support of Sub-Saharan African countries, UNIDO ITPO Italy organizes the Somalia Round Table at its headquarters, which will take place on Friday 11 October 2019.
The General Director of the Somali Ministry of Industry and Trade, Dr. Abdiaziz Ibrahim Adan, will take part in the meeting and will present the Italy-Somalia Business Forum to be held in Mogadisho on 10 and 11 December 2019.
The opportunity will also be useful to deepen existing business opportunities in Somalia.
The sectors of interest are agro-industry, fishing, renewable energy and social housing.
The activity is organized in the context of the “Agro Technology Development for Economic Growth in South and Central Somalia” project, funded by the Italian Development Cooperation Agency and implemented by UNIDO.
Beirut 25-27 September 2019 - International Beirut Energy Forum
Within the framework of the project financed by the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea, UNIDO ITPO Italia supported 11 companies operating in the renewable energy, engineering and energy infrastructure sectors, at the International Beirut Energy Forum which has took place at the Royal Hotel – Dbayeh from 25 to 27 September.
“The future of life in a time of global change” is the focus of the 10th edition of the IBEF, aimed at promoting partnerships, regional and international cooperation and collaboration initiatives in the sustainable energy sector.
On September 26th, the Italian Trade Agency of Beirut and UNIDO ITPO Italy organized a conference entitled “Case Studies on Italian Technologies and Solutions in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Sector“, during the presentation ATS2000 illustrated the new solutions and technologies for the Lebanese energy sector.
The event is a strategic opportunity to meet Lebanese companies to implement new partnerships in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector of Lebanon.
